Finally! Some news!

Updating you guys has been hard lately with no word from my team leader for the trip, but I finally got a word from Brett on the progress of this trip. In the next month, he will be sending out our itineraries as well as training material next week and we will begin to have training sessions in early March! I am so excited to finally hear that we will be moving forward with the trip plans! 
He also recommended we pick up a book called "When Helping Hurts", and it is about the language and culture barriers that we may face while trying to witness to people in Africa, and how to deal with it without hurting someone or creating issues. Anyone out there reading who has read the book? I'm not much of a reader myself, especially in this time of season with my college classes, but I'm curious about this book!
There is also going to be an opportunity in a few weeks to get all our money refunded and get our trip paid for, and Brett is suggesting we all enter it. It would be so awesome to win that just because of my money struggle, so I am definitely going to try, but if this trip is for real something I am being called for, then I wont need to win that contest because God WILL provide me with my resources.

Payment due..

I'm going to be perfectly honest with you guys, I still have over $800 I owe for my trip costs before June, and at this point with all my job problems and having to pick up a second job, and hours for both aren't effecient enough to even pay for gas to school and back, I am starting to wonder if i'm going to be able to pay this by June!

It really upsets me too because I've had a long time to raise the money and the donations from people have been so amazing. I obviously wouldn't have even gotten this far. But in all reality, I have no idea how i'm going to pay that 800 by June.. :/

I know if this trip is meant to be, God will provide me with my resources, but it's hard as a human not letting this finance stuff bother me! Thanks for all the support you all are giving me for this trip, and please keep me in your prayers as I try to scrap together funds for my last payments.
